There's not much to say about this batch of photos--they're pretty self-explanatory. I took advantage of a beautiful morning and walked around the neighborhood snapping pictures of the blossoms. Enjoy!
2009 Photo Roundup: Longwood Gardens
I think this will be my last photo roundup for 2009, and then it's time to move on to the present! I went to Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania in July, as I mentioned in this post, and was in awe of how enormous it is, and how much is there. A topiary garden, a children's garden, a treehouse, a lily pond garden, and a huge conservatory... it really is pretty amazing. I already posted my two favorite butterfly photos from that day, but here are some more of my favorite shots from my visit:
Alphabet Photography
Recently, I started "collecting" alphabet photos. I keep an eye out for objects in nature and architecture that look like letters, and then snap them. Then I crop and rotate the image afterward to get it to look just like the letter. This has been a fun little project for me! I'm not yet up to a full collection of 26, but I'm getting there. I made a name sign for my college roommate's daughter, Spencer, and I think it came out really cute:
